Three Things Thursday

Happy Thursday!  Last night we ended up eating Mexican and watching Crazy Stupid Love.  It was a cute movie, a little long though.  Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 75% positive review, which is actually pretty good.  So I thought it would be a little better than it was.  But I do love Steve Carrell and Ryan Gossling!

Three things I'm loving this week:

1.  Not Your Mother's volumizing hair powder:
While I was at the salon last week a few of the hairdressers were talking about this powder by Eufora. You sprinkle a little bit at the roots and massage a little underneath the part to give your hair a teased look.  I used some before I left, and I was amazed how much volume it gave my hair.  It was amazing!  I'm not good at teasing my hair AT ALL.  I actually just learned the proper way to do it a few weeks ago, and I suck at it.  My hair is fine and very soft.  So it tends to just fall limp.  It doesn't have a lot of texture to it.  But the Eufora brand was $25 for a small bottle.  Even though Eufora is a great brand it was too much money for me.  So I left without buying it, and I could always go back and get it later.  With a little bit of research I found the NYM's volumizing hair powder at Ulta.  It has very similar ingredients, and it's only $5.99.  So I bought some yesterday.  I am really impressed.  A little goes a long way.  So the bottle will probably last a while.  It's not quite as great as the Eufora king, but for $19 less- I'll take it!
 2.  Coffee-mate Natural Bliss creamer in Sweet Cream:
This stuff is AMAZING!  I love coffee, but I hate sweet coffee unless it is iced or frozen.  I usually just put unflavored creamer, a dash of heavy whipping cream, or half and half in my coffee.  But I had Target and manufacture coupons to get this really cheap.  So I figured I'd try it.  It's made with only nonfat milk, heavy cream, and sugar.  Everyone has got to try this.
3.  The Help:
I loved this book.  I cannot wait to see the movie.  I highly recommend everyone reading this book.  It was so good and truly eye-opening.  To make it even more special for me, I found out that it was written by an alumnae of my sorority, and there will be an alum in the movie too.  I love hearing finding out things like that!
